Our Mission as Holy Angels Parishioners is to provide for the Catholic religious
and spiritual needs of our members through worship, education, and stewardship.
We are called to live the message of Jesus Christ, and reach out to each other
and the wider community.
Parish Membership
We extend a welcome to all who wish to be part of the Holy Angels Parish community. New members register at a meeting held for them each month. To join the parish, please call the parish office at
937-229-5911.
Members are expected to worship with the Holy Angels community regularly, give their time, talent, and treasure to the parish, and generally take their place as part of this community.
Members who move from Holy Angels Parish are asked to notify the office. Changes in names and addresses are also to be communicated to the parish office to keep the database current.
Holy Days in the United States of America
The National Conference of Catholic Bishops of the United States voted in November of 1983
to retain the obligation for five of the solemnities. They are:
January 1 .......................................Mary, the Mother of God*
August 15 ......................................The Assumption*
November 1 ..................................All Saints*
December 8 ...................................The Immaculate Conception
December 25 .................................The Nativity of our Lord
*When these fall on a Saturday or a Monday, the obligation to attend Mass is optional. The feast is still observed at Mass and the Liturgy of the Hours even though the obligation is removed.
Book of Intentions
Holy Angels parish has a book where you can write your special intentions. This book is located on the west (Brown Street) side of the church. Any one who has a special intention for which the congregation is to pray, whether it is in praise, request, or thanksgiving, may write this intention in the book. Every Sunday these intentions are included in the prayers of the assembly during the General Intercessions.
Parish Facility Scheduling
Holy Angels follows the policies established by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in scheduling facilities owned by the parish. Religious and educational programs have priority, followed by parish organizations and parishioners’ requests. The parish facilities include parish center, church, school, and plaza.
